There is just one cookie here, and it came a long way to get to Half Moon Bay. It’s the recipe Bethany’s mother spent years perfecting for church potlucks in small-town Illinois — the one people showed up early for. Bethany learned it beside her on Saturday afternoons, and bakes it now exactly the way it has always been made.
Every order is mixed, scooped, and baked the day it goes out. Crisp edges, a soft middle, and pools of chocolate that are still a little molten if you don’t wait.
